Age of Empires IV: Definitive Edition Features
The new Age of Empires IV: Definitive Edition brings in fully remastered visuals in 4K UHD, giving the game enhanced graphics and a modern feel to the gameplay. In addition to that, it also features an increased population limit, which means that each player (or civilization) has an increased upper cap for population, that used to 200 in the first few editions of the game. The game also incorporates enhanced pathfinding techniques which allow individual units on the map to navigate smoothly around obstructions such as trees or shallows. The attack moves of units have also been enhanced to make it look smoother and realistic. Other than that, the developers have also worked towards enhancing the visuals of the game, laying focus on the way a building is destructed. Age of Empires IV will also bring three new zoom levels to the fore. Now users can look at the map from a wider angle by zooming out or zooming in during battles. Needless to say, the upcoming Age of Empires game will have added campaigns with a wider range of battles incorporated spanning over different ages. The campaign page also gets a refreshed user interface which informs the gamer a bit about the campaign with the battle’s historical significance. The game also gets renewed orchestral soundtracks alongside other graphics improvements. It will be exclusively available for Windows 10 PC.
